Flight patterns and dysfunctionalities
All regarding this hopeless search
For a land of everything
Cast away from the mapped mind of being
Feathered by the outstanding seas of the grey
Always thought of to be immense,
Unparallel, undisclosed, untamed.
Now left with the hollows of
paper cups left unattended by the bedroom door
Stained permanently like the painted
Adorned shifting glasses from the window
And the ringing of the wind chimes from beyond
left echoes of soft lulls through the gaps of the sill
Tarnished golden metals sparkle
As the trapped rays of the harsh sun travel through
Taking time to sear its path with deliberate fashion
Greys start to collide
Such mannered gasps of leaps and excitements
And in confusion fountains
Made privy the hopeless attractions of the flightless bird
Such catastrophe made the casualites like an apostrophe
Turned the days of wonder to escalate into the blackness
And leave the desecrated tomb of your cries
Damaged, beaten, drugged and degraded.

Lifeline

She casts her net up high
Trying to ward of the clouds in the sky
Forced the smile out her eyes
Though struggling with the tryst

Salty waves clashed through
Her grave bones chilled too
As her hair, the wind blew
And to the stars it weaved to

Color her skin with dust
Diamond, sparkling, envied with lust
But her fingers grew old and rust
While she held on tight her cast

precaution for lies

You who feed most your life
Through stories of others in truth or lies
Take heed with precaution
Of the tolls of succession
In many ways pondering
If with what you choose comes a pounding

Tell them your secrets
And in turn their own you secreted
Miserable encounters becomes
The agonizing place you succumb
For in their wretched innocence transpire
Your hungry ghosts inquire

And in equal breaths you share
But in false sympathy they should be aware
For not in your words you digress
But in strained tone of your distress
Comes the truth of your presence
That you have nothing of essence

You who who feed us your lies
Would it be better if you had your prize?
Of counting us as your pawns
Our souls you put on as loans
To the devil you call your own
For the promises you cast on stone

Left burdened by your dark tales
Of misguided stormy hales
Of dreary insipid takes
Dramatizing every heart ache
And putting show of dripping skies
For sympathy of obvious tries

We who care to turn our heads
To heed our hearts which led
To our demise and death
For our oblivious leap of breath
And your insipid treachery
That left us all in such misery

leave the past

live the present

see the future

close your eyes

heighten your senses

see with your heart

hear the heart of the wind

feel the warmth of the earth

be one with your soul

be the person that you want

be the change you want to see

be the best you can be

seared

Senseless inadequacy
Left me shaken, brittle and burned
In captured moments I have grasped
Each and every hurt

Through flames like you
I was beaten and bruised
Carrying the burden
Of such an angry youth

Evasive and astute
Were the tactics I used
But none of it worked
To put the fire out my soul

Planned and insignificant
Portions of life I cannot control
As my whole, skewered
Oblivion seemed the worst

In passing,
Plagued by your demons
Caught in blood ridden
Hearts that grew cold

brush off

Incapacitated.
Flowing unendingly through conversations and speech
Going through the motions of uncertainty and reach
Where is your definition of tranquility
When there is nothing calm about your words

Words.
Curt and short
Like your stature when you last met your own demise
How your tall, confident limbs
Suddenly crushed and molten into a dice
Curled like a newborn in an unfamiliar world

Shunned
Torn away from your sanity
But perhaps torn away from your insanity
Broke free of your prison
Maybe dragged away from a home
Such was your state

I was content with what I had
But you came along
And along came crumbling down
Everything I had
Then you left without a sound
Now everything is the same
But different somehow
I’m back to where I was
But I can’t be who I was
Now I don’t know
What I’m supposed to do
Should I write you a letter
And tell you all my fears?
I know you let go of everything
The moment you left
I should let go of you
The moment I left
But it all comes down to this
I am back to where I was
But I can’t go back
To the ME I was before

Chasing Daylights

In passing
Calm waves of emotions rise
Reverberating through every inch,
Every limb,
Every vein

Time consuming,
Time prolonging
Chasing the shadow bearing landscape
Quickly,
Catching through the endless clouds
Come away to the edge
And fly away to the ridge
As the proud rays come yonder
Pulling close to its bosoms
Bequeaths warmth echoed through,
In time with the heartbeat

And demons dare not be vanquished
By the pleasure of its presence

Because I will always be the girl that no body knows about. The one he courts and no one knew, the one he pursued that no one cared. I will always be the secret girl that he’d hide from the rest.
